Your first trade with RRS

This guide is for a single account on NinjaTrader 8. Goal: one clean trade from chart to Journal — without multi-account setup.

1. Install

Import the suite from the package you received (NinjaTrader → Tools → Import). Compile if prompted. Add RiskRewardExecutor to a chart of the instrument you trade.

2. Mark the trade

On the chart, set entry and stop so contract size matches the dollar (or %) risk you intended. Add targets if you use them.

3. Send

Use one click or F1 (if configured). Entry, stop and targets should go together. Enable the strategy on the chart first if needed.

4. After the fill

Let the suite manage break-even / trail if those options are on. When the trade closes, open the Journal — the file updates automatically (no daily CSV export/import). Optional chart screenshots appear when that feature is enabled.

5. Multi-trades (optional)

You can open more than one independent setup on the same symbol. Each keeps its own stop and targets. Enable multi-position in the suite when you need concurrent trades.

6. Before you scale

Run a few trades on one account. Only then enable replication (Full) and daily limits.
